Passion for wood combined with love of craftsmanship
Back in 2012, Tommi Rajala, the master and artisan behind the enterprise, got hold of a small woodworking lathe – and Wood Art was born. A hobby that started as a result of a coincidence stole his heart and soon pottering became a passion, with results that today enjoy worldwide renown.
Wood Art objects are unique and they are created using traditional woodcraft techniques. Each object shows a deep respect for hardwood as well as expert knowledge for this material. Most of our work is created to order and will carry a personal meaning to the recipient, however, our innovative artisan does create objects that you can buy from our online shop, as well.

Wood Art products are a combination of our artist's vivid imagination, woodworking artisan's craftmanship and a respect for the simple beauty of hardwood and the fact that , as it is wood, each object is truly unique.
Committed to his craft and to bringing out the best of each piece, Tommi Rajala uses wood to create interesting decoration items, such as clocks and watches, safes, portraits of people and animals, company logos, trophies and different gift items. Some of Rajala's most famous, also internationally renowned, work include the Lego man, the Nintendo table and the latest piece of craftsmanship, the astoundingly detailed engine of a Volkswagen Beetle.
